Tuesday 15th June 2010.
Still in Spain. We had been up Penalara 2428m, and gazed in awe at the mountainside of granite domes and boulders at Manzanares et Real, a paradise for boulderers. We now found ourselves back beside the Mediterranean and in The Cabo de Gata national park near Almeria. During the week we climbed a mountain named Fraile and bouldered on the surreal cliffs at Monsul Beach. Amazing overhanging moves on large holds with a deep natural sandpit below.
